Matrikx +5
A Sweeter Taste
Features:
- 2 Micron Nominal Filtration
- Coconut Shell Carbon
- High VOC, TOC, and Turbidity Reduction
- Chlorine, Taste, and Odour Reduction
The Matrikx +5 filter is made from coconut shell carbon, which creates what many believe to be a sweeter tasting water. Because of the unique pore structure of this carbon, it is well-suited for chemical absorption, including VOCs, and chlorine, taste, and odour. Matrikx +5 filters provide 2 micron nominal particulate filtration and extended life as a fine sediment filter.
The service life of a Matrikx +5 filter is greatly extended by an outer layer of prefiltration medium and will operate effectively in most installations without prefiltration. The Matrikx +5 is ideal for residential and food service applications where improving the taste of the water is the primary objective. |

Matrikx + CTO/2
The Workhorse
Features:
- 5 Micron Nominal Filtration
- High Absorptive Capacity and Efficiency
- Efficient Sediment Filter
- No Release of Carbon Fines
- Competitively Priced vs. GAC Filters
Matrikx +CTO/2 filters are the most widely used carbon block devices in the world and provide previously unattainable performance at the lowest price point. Matrikx +CTO/2 filters simultaneously remove chlorine, taste, and odour, as well as organic chemicals that contribute to taste and odour while providing the particulate filtration and dirt-holding capacity of an efficient 5 micron nominal sediment filter. These filters are optimized for applications where they perform the role of both a sediment and activated carbon filter.
The extrusion process allows the production of a carbon block with more carbon, but a lower pressure drop. This enables Matrikx +CTO/2 filters to deliver extended life while removing sediment, chlorine, taste, and odour, as well as organic contaminants from water, aqueous solutions, or suspensions. the Matrikx +CTO/2 is also widely used in filtering organic solvents, and is idea for use in residential and commercial water purification systems, food service, pre- and post-R/O systems.

Matrikx +Pb1
The Premier Performer
Features:
- 0.5 Micron Nominal Filtration
- Rated Flow 0.75 GPM, 2 500 Gallons Life
- Lead Reduction
- Cyst Reduction (Giardia, Cryptosporidium)
- Turbidity Reduction
- Outstanding Chlorine, Taste, and Odour Reduction
Matrikx +Pb1 is a powerful, multifunctional filter cartridge for residential and commercial water treatment systems.
Heavy Metals Reduction
Matrikx +Pb1 extruded activated carbon filters reduce soluble lead using an ion-exchange filter medium with high specifity for soluble lead. Particulate filtration is used to intercept insoluble lead-containing particles.
Chemical Absorption
Matrikx +Pb1 filterf offer high level of chemical reduction in potable drinking water, including chlorine, taste, and odour.
Particulate, Cyst, and Turbidity Reduction
Matrikx +Pb1 filters meet NSF/ANSI Standard 53, Turbidity and Cyst Reduction, including Cryposporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma. Graded-density filtration combined with high-dirt capacity extruded activated carbon provide several times greater life than molded filters.

Ceramikx
All Carbon, Sub-Micron Performance
Features:
- 0.2 Micron Nominal Filtration
- >99.95% Reduction of Cryptosporidium and Giardia
- 99.9996% Reduction of E.coli
- Chlorine, Taste, and Odour Reduction
The 'all-carbon' Ceramikx filter combines the fine particulate reduction of a traditional ceramic filter with the chlorine, taste, and odour reduction of activated carbon. The 0.2 nominal micron Ceramikx filter meets NSF/ANSI Standard 53 criteria for particulate removal and turbidity reduction, and the control of cysts, including Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The Ceramikx filter can easily be cleaned with 'just the wipe of a sponge'. |
